New Energy Batteries Testing

Sanwood provides battery environmental test chambers and climatic test chambers for EV batteries, ESS batteries, lithium-ion cells, modules and packs. Our proven standard models and customized chamber solutions are selected according to sample size, weight, heat load, wiring layout and safety requirements.

For advanced battery safety testing, Sanwood chambers can be configured for EUCAR Hazard Level 0-7 related scenarios, with reinforced structures, pressure relief, gas or smoke detection and emergency exhaust. Selected battery test chamber solutions have passed SGS certification, and CO2 / R744 refrigeration with GWP=1 is available to support European low-carbon and F-gas compliance requirements.

Sanwood battery environmental test chambers are designed to support international battery safety, transportation and environmental reliability testing. Depending on the battery type, sample size, test method and target market, standard or customized chamber configurations can be provided for lithium-ion battery, EV battery and energy storage system validation.

For high-risk lithium-ion battery tests, Sanwood chambers can be equipped with reinforced inner structure, pressure relief, gas or smoke detection, emergency exhaust, fire protection interface, door interlock, over-temperature protection and remote monitoring. CO2 refrigeration with GWP=1 is available for selected battery test chamber models, helping laboratories reduce refrigerant climate impact while meeting EV and ESS test requirements.
