Sanwood battery environmental test chambers are designed to support international battery safety, transportation and environmental reliability testing. Depending on the battery type, sample size, test method and target market, standard or customized chamber configurations can be provided for lithium-ion battery, EV battery and energy storage system validation.
Sanwood can also provide SGS-certified chamber configurations and project documentation to support global battery testing programs.
Sanwood climatic test chambers are used for battery R&D, production validation and third-party laboratory testing. For common sample sizes, Sanwood offers proven standard environmental test chamber models. For large, heavy or high-energy samples, customized battery test chambers can be engineered around chamber volume, loading structure, cable ports, refrigeration capacity and safety protection.
Typical users include battery manufacturers, EV suppliers, ESS integrators, testing laboratories, research institutes and certification organizations.
Sanwood environmental test chambers simulate real-world and accelerated environmental conditions for battery safety, performance and lifetime evaluation. The chamber can be selected from standard models or customized according to sample dimensions, thermal load, charge-discharge wiring and safety-risk level.
For high-risk lithium-ion battery tests, Sanwood chambers can be equipped with reinforced inner structure, pressure relief, gas or smoke detection, emergency exhaust, fire protection interface, door interlock, over-temperature protection and remote monitoring. CO2 refrigeration with GWP=1 is available for selected battery test chamber models, helping laboratories reduce refrigerant climate impact while meeting EV and ESS test requirements.
